Biographical Note

Cormac McCarthy is the author of many acclaimed novels, including Blood Meridian, The Road, The Passenger, Stella Maris and No Country For Old Men. All the Pretty Horses forms part of the Border Trilogy, together with The Crossing and Cities of the Plain. Among his honours are the National Book Award and the National Book Critics Circle Award.
