Chame leon use and recommended formula:
1. Application of paint: first spray the object with a black or dark primer and then spray the color-changing pigment to achieve the color-changing effect.
Paint: Addition of color-changing pigment: 5%-15%
Ink: Addition of color-changing pigment: 5%-15%
2. For plastic applications, it is recommended to mix 1%-8% color-changing pigment with 0.02% carbon black to achieve the best color-changing effect. The color-changing pigment can be heated to 300℃
Precautions for use:
1. Avoid mixing with strong acid and alkali materials to avoid corrosion of raw materials.
2. The pigment should be dispersed with a low-shear disperser, avoiding the dispersion method of color grinding and extrusion to prevent the pigment particles from breaking.
3. When mixed with pigments (such as metal and pearlescent pigments), unexpected color changes can be obtained, and opaque or light-scattering components will weaken the color change.
4. The hue of the color can be changed by changing the color of the bottom layer or mixing two color-changing pigments.
5. The amount of pigment is affected by factors such as the surface quality of the substrate, the color of the substrate, the thickness of the coating, and the coverage requirements.
