Scraping board, also known as the acupuncture board or Guasha board, can be used as a personal health acupuncture tool.
Regular use the Guasha board with the body skin can improve the body blood circulation, treatment of disease and clear toxic material in the body, etc.
These guasha boards are lightly coated with bee wax to protect this tool in its best condition.
You can smell lightly honey wax on the tool.


How to use Guasha board?
First apply a few drops of Gua Sha oil or baby oil or olive oil or diluted herb oil to the skin surface.
Drink Plenty of Water. This can help you to remove some bad items from your body through urine after applying the Guasha Stroke on your skin.

Then take the Gua Sha tool, and slowly and continuously making long strokes, rub downwards from the neck down the posterior aspect of the back (which is the most common area, but not the only area - other areas such as face, hands, foot, chest, arms, and legs are also treated).
Initially a few red spots will be visible, and will guide you where to concentrate on. Continue for approx 5 - 10 min depending on the condition and severity. If you never use this tool, try ony 5 minutes first. Some red or even purple marks (sha petechiae) could also appear. In younger patients, only a pink glow may appear. If you are very tired or feel quite unwell, the dark marks will possible apprear on your skin.
Gua Sha is a safe, simple and effective traditional procedure for home health care. Do NOT worry about the marks (if any). The marks will only be visible for a few days before disappearing. Please do NOT apply guasha to the same mark areas before the mark disappears. An early feeling of relief and recovery is reported by adherents of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Gua Sha Stroke Areas

Apply downward strokes to the skin using moderate or slight pressure. Please do NOT use too much pressure. Even slight pressure will have good effect. The person should not feel pain although it might feel uncomfortable. Stroke one area at a time, until all the sha is up (the petechiae of that surface is completely raised) which is when stroking no longer increases the number of dots or changes the color. Then move to the next area.
